AIRPORT
Vienna International Airport in Schwechat which is approx. 20 kilometres outside the city center. From there you can take a taxi or the train.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
U3 Neubaugasse (underground), 49 Westbahnstraße/ Neubaugasse (tram), Bus 13A
CAR RENTAL
At the airport you find the usual international companies offering cars. Keep however in mind that Vienna has great public transport and taxi services and parking can be difficult and rather expensive.
You can park your car in the parkings of Stiftgasse 5-9 or Burggasse 85. Parking in the streets is free on Saturday and Sunday.

Vienna is full of history, art and culture. You will find great museums, churches and historic buildings that tell you stories from past centuries. You can visit palaces where Sisi lived and you can discover the modern part of Vienna as one of the cities of the United Nations. If you like shopping you might want to stroll around the first district or visit Mariahilfer Straße which is just around the corner from the venue. In any case you do not want to miss the traditional coffee houses where you can enjoy coffee, cake and so much more. If you want some nature you will find parcs, the Danube and the nearby Wienerwald forest.
